The “Black Cat” form is especially striking for its deeper, more intense veining and overall high-contrast look, giving the foliage an almost graphic, painted appearance.

This plant is grown primarily for its spectacular foliage, though like other Hoyas, it will eventually reward patience with clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers when mature and well established. The leaves are firm, slightly succulent, and hold their shape well, making this a standout specimen even when not in bloom.
