Description & Care
Hoya verticillata Splash MA20 is a beautiful, splash-heavy form of the classic verticillata species. The elongated leaves are dusted with bright silver splash, creating a striking contrast against the deep green base. This particular clone (MA20) is known for producing stronger, more consistent splash patterns and for developing warm sunstress tones under brighter light—giving the foliage added depth and variation.
Once mature, verticillata varieties are reliable bloomers, producing classic Hoya cluster flowers on long-lived peduncles that rebloom year after year.
Light: Bright, indirect light. Higher light enhances silver splash and encourages sunstress tones.
Water: Allow soil to dry between waterings. Prefers a chunky, well-draining mix.
Humidity: Thrives at 50–70% humidity but adapts well to household environments.
Temperature: 65–85°F. Avoid cold drafts or sudden temperature shifts.
Growth: Moderate grower with elongated, splashy foliage and sturdy vines.
Flowers: Produces returning clusters of blooms on persistent peduncles; do not remove peduncles after flowering.
Care Level: Easy to moderate.
